GoMyid End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement describes the terms and conditions that govern the installation and use of the GoMyid Remote Desktop Platform. The agreement is made between you as the user or customer and DeskGate LLC as the provider of the software. It applies to all parts of the GoMyid platform, including the self-hosted and cloud components, software agents, modules, written documentation and any future updates or improvements released by DeskGate.

By installing, downloading or using the GoMyid software you agree to follow all terms defined in this agreement. If you do not accept these terms you must stop using the product and remove all copies from every device where it was installed.

1. License Grant

DeskGate provides you with a non exclusive and non transferable license that allows installation and use of the GoMyid software during the length of your subscription or perpetual license depending on your purchase type. This license is granted strictly for legitimate business operations such as secure remote access, remote support and internal IT functions.

GoMyid accounts and access credentials must be used only by authorized individuals known as named users. These credentials may not be shared. Additional users or simultaneous remote sessions may require separate licenses depending on your agreement with DeskGate.

2. Support Services

DeskGate may offer customer support through email, support channels, updates, patches and product improvements. The level of support you receive depends on your selected subscription plan or your active maintenance agreement.

3. Beta Versions

DeskGate may occasionally provide optional beta features or preview builds. These beta features are offered as is and may contain limited functionality or undergo changes at any time. If you choose to participate you may provide feedback voluntarily. DeskGate may use this feedback without obligation or limitation.

4. Restrictions

You agree to comply with the usage rules below. GoMyid may not be used for any form of unauthorized access, hidden access or non consensual monitoring.

  • You may not modify, reverse engineer or disassemble the software except where local law permits it.
  • You may not bypass licensing rules, activation systems or security protection features.
  • You may not use the software for unlawful activity, unauthorized access or non consensual monitoring.
  • You may not rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute the software without written permission.

GoMyid must never be used for surveillance, espionage or accessing devices without the clear permission of the device owner or user.

5. Intellectual Property

GoMyid and all related components are licensed to you, not sold. DeskGate remains the owner of all copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property associated with the product. Your usage rights are limited to the permissions clearly granted within this agreement.

6. Data Processing and Privacy

DeskGate processes personal or technical information only as needed to deliver secure remote access, licensing, updates, support and service stability. DeskGate follows applicable data protection laws and does not use personal information for advertising or unrelated purposes without explicit consent.

Some non personal technical information may be collected automatically to maintain product security and performance. More details can be found in the GoMyid Privacy Policy.

7. Updates and License Validation

You may remove the software at any time through the Windows Apps and Features panel. The software does not modify browser settings including search engine or homepage.

The product may connect to DeskGate servers to validate your license, apply required security updates or download configuration files needed for operation. These updates may be mandatory to maintain the secure performance of the product.

Some versions may contain technological protection measures such as license keys, activation checks or access control features designed to prevent unauthorized usage.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement if the other party fails to uphold its obligations. Upon termination you must stop using the software and delete or return all copies. Provisions regarding intellectual property, liability, confidentiality and warranty remain valid after termination.

9. Export Controls

You agree to follow all relevant export laws and restrictions. You may not export the software or use it in prohibited countries or with restricted organizations.

10. Warranty

For commercial customers DeskGate warrants that the software will operate substantially as described during the warranty period. Trial users and private users receive the software as is and without warranty.

DeskGate does not guarantee uninterrupted service or error free operation. Compatibility with all environments, devices or third party systems cannot be guaranteed.

11. Limitation of Liability

Where permitted by law DeskGate is not responsible for indirect or incidental damages such as data loss, business interruption or lost revenue. Liability for direct damages is limited to the price paid for the software.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify DeskGate against claims that arise from misuse of the software, violation of this agreement or violation of applicable laws.

13. Entire Agreement

This agreement represents the full understanding between you and DeskGate regarding the software and replaces any previous agreements or communications.

14. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States. All disputes must be handled in the courts located in Wyoming in the United States.

15. U.S. Government Notice

The software is classified as commercial computer software. Use, reproduction or disclosure by United States government entities is restricted according to the terms in this agreement.

16. Miscellaneous

  • If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable the remaining parts remain valid.
  • No third party receives rights under this agreement.
  • Any assignment or transfer requires written approval from DeskGate.
